Breast Augmentation Questions
Which implant options can we discuss?
Silicone gel and saline implants come in different sizes and profiles. We discuss options suited to your anatomy and goals, including benefits and risks. Implants are not lifetime devices and may require future surgery.
Where are the incisions placed?
Options may include the breast crease, the areolar border or the underarm. The choice depends on your anatomy, implant and surgical plan. All incisions leave scars; we discuss placement and scar care during consultation.
What should we expect during recovery?
Swelling, soreness and activity restrictions are expected after surgery. Recovery varies with the procedure and the individual. We provide a personalized plan for follow-up, support garments and return to work, exercise and lifting.
What happens at the consultation?
We review your health history, examine your anatomy and discuss your goals with Dr. Salameh. We explain appropriate options, risks, recovery and whether augmentation alone or another approach may suit your needs. Bring your questions and inspiration photos.
How is pricing determined?
Your quote is personalized after consultation according to the recommended procedure and surgical plan. We review the estimate and what it includes before you decide.
Can we aim for a natural-looking result?
Planning considers your frame, existing breast tissue, symmetry and desired volume. Implant size and placement are individualized to support balanced proportions. No specific appearance or cup size can be guaranteed. Individual results vary.
How is breast augmentation different from a breast lift?
Augmentation adds volume. A lift addresses breast position and excess skin. Some people may need a lift with augmentation; an examination helps determine which approach fits their goals.
